Charity partners will have a dedicated section on our website with a hyperlinked logo to your business. We are very active on social media and would post about the support given with lots of thanks!
There are a number of aspects to our project that need funding. We are a new initiative so still have a large element of start up costs to cover such as storage racking and boxes, bags we distribute the items in.
We welcome financial donations that we can spend on items we need as we need them, or sponsorship for a specific item such a designed ’Bag For Life’ for distribution of the items of which sponsorship info can be added.
If you give your staff a regular volunteering day and they have access to a car or van, we would love to utilise them for our deliveries from HQ to the community hubs where families will collect their items from. We will require delivery drivers 2 afternoons/week, picking up the bundles late morning, for onward delivery throughout Trafford.
Other regular volunteering opportunities are clothes sorting and bundle making. We receive donations of clothing daily, and these need to be checked & sorted, ready for us to create bundles. Staff with attention to detail and an interest in fashion would be great for this task!
We send new packs of childrens underwear and socks with every bundle we send out. Setting up a collection point for these in your office/space so staff can contribute and donate to this if they pick up a pack whilst out shopping would be hugely appreciated.
We occasionally put shout outs for urgent requests of specific items such as ‘an age 8 boys coat’, encouraging your staff to follow and share our social media posts will help us fulfil urgent requests a lot quicker.
