So the Blogging Begins…
Well, today’s the day! I’m officially diving into the world of blogging. It’s something I never imagined doing, but as the CEO of a small charity, I’ve come to realise that embracing this platform and my own voice is essential for us to drive meaningful change.
Leaders of small charities witness the daily struggles and challenges people face firsthand. We have a unique platform to advocate for change, and blogging is a powerful way to do that. So, here I am, giving it a go!
What’s possessed me to take on blogging on top of everything else I have going on with a young family, small charity to run and a job in the NHS? Well… It all started with an inspiring training session that, quite honestly, has nudged me into the blogging world. This wasn’t just any training session—it was with Alex from Altrincham HQ. I’ve been following Alex’s work on social media for over a year now and have admired how he leverages social media to boost his business and those of businesses around him. Today, I finally had the chance to learn from him directly, and it was brilliant.
The session really opened my eyes to the intricacies of social media, especially LinkedIn, which is the platform I need to master. So, if you’re reading this, show me some LinkedIn love! I’ve only got 257 followers at the moment, so any follows would be greatly appreciated. I promise there will be more content coming your way!
For now, I’ll keep this short and sweet. My goal is to use this blog to keep you updated on what we’re up to at the charity, the impact we’re making, and how your support is helping the families we serve.
Thanks for reading, and I look forward to sharing more with you soon. Over and out!
